鉛筆のＪＩＳ表示について
鉛筆ＪＩＳは、昭和２６年(1951)に制定され約50年にわたって我が国の鉛筆の品質向上に貢献してきましたが、平成10年(1998)に規制緩和の一貫で品目指定が取り消しになり製品に刻印されていたマーク表示を廃止することになりました。品質水準が上がったのでＪＩＳマークを付ける意味がなくなってきたためです。しかし、ＪＩＳ規格基準は存続しており、この基準に基づいて製品は作られています。
