The adhesive component is made of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, a gelling agent (soap), a dissolving component of the synthetic resin, dissolved in water and alcohol and mixed at elevated temperatures.
These are liquid at high temperatures and can be injected into a lipstick-type container. After that, it hardens when cooled and becomes solid.
